We at Sharpe Industries have been supplying Sth Pacific Islands with 1000s of different items for many years. We began by supplying the very best quality used goods to a select clientele with 7 secondhand clothing stores. With our help they are now opperating 29 stores, many of which are introducing more and more new items into this region with growing success. Another four stores are to open in the next 2 months, with a target of 58 stores in several islands to be open for bussiness by December 1st 2006.
The main target for new items has been clothing, shoes, Manchester, toys and electrical products, that we source as closeout stocklots at prices of 8% and less of the wholesale cost. This has proved to be competitive with the strong secondhand market in this region.
We are always on the lookout for new suppliers of these and any other items with potential in this market. Dollar store items are always in demand, especially new innovative products. Household electrical goods have been selling as quick as it lands, although these items have been purchased as seconds and as such, we purchase these regularly at 10% of manufacturers cost.
